Being successful in the current job market implies having entrepreneurial skills that enable you to deal with emerging challenges. This study describes and systematizes these skills, considering the contemporary phenomena of globalization and digital transformation. Documentary analysis and critical reflection on the data collected made it possible to identify the socio-economic and sociocultural reasons for the relevance of this issue and, consequently, to develop a reference framework suited to the fundamental needs of most professionals. The results pointed to a tripartite model of competencies - being open to novelty, creating solutions for emerging problems, and communicating effectively - that integrates the following competencies: creativity and innovation; initiative; self efficacy and resilience; strategic planning and evaluation; problem-solving; transformational leadership; clear and visual communication; teamwork and networking; and digital communication. In the continuation of this study, it is proposed the creation and validation of a competence scale based on this model to measure the degree of development of these competencies in most professionals.
