About the Journal
Video Journal of Social and Human Research - VJSHR (ISSN 2795-5745) is a biannual scientific journal, published in a partnership between the Universidade Aberta (UAb), Portugal; and the State University of Maranhão (UEMA), Brazil. The editorial policy of the video journal combines textual and audiovisual approaches of social sciences with human research, as well as topics related to political reality, to intercultural communication, education aimed at globalization, and to the social, economic and linguistic diversity of contemporary societies. It also aims to critically reflect on global issues from an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspective, especially on the role of societies and individuals in these processes. VJSHR intends to provide a platform for interdisciplinary research and aims to establish a new frontier in social and human publishing when it comes to scientific communication in video article format.
